Sports Sales Executive

To strengthen our sports de­part­ment, we are seeking a proactive, flexible, and team-oriented sales executive to join our team.

Vizrt is looking for an ambitious Sports Sales Executive to join our team in the Sydney office. The ideal candidate is an experienced Sales Executive with a successful track record selling software solutions in the Sports digital or media industry. The Sales Executive has the primary responsibility for generating new opportunities and for bringing them to closure. The successful candidate will possess the ability to suc­cess­fully market multi-faceted software products to both business and technical users. They will need a background in software or hardware solutions, along with a strong enthusiasm for sports.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing an established portfolio of key accounts
  • Proactively identify, locate, and qualify new business leads
  • Drive solution sales in the region, actively upselling to existing accounts
  • Act as a solutions expert in analyzing customer needs, clarify expectations, and successfully communicate and sell Vizrt product solutions
  • Diligently follow up and manage extensive customer contact including presentations, demonstrations, group meetings, and sales calls
  • Manage the sales process from lead identification through to closure

Desired skills:

  • 3+ years of experience selling complex software solutions to B2B customers in the software industry, with knowledge and experience of the Australian, New Zealand and Japanese sports business
  • Technical competence and interest in hardware and software solutions
  • Experience in sports technology/sports television is a strong advantage
  • Experienced in developing new business, identifying and selling to customer needs utilizing a consultative sales approach 
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple product lines in a growing, fast-paced environment
  • Preferably experienced in working with supporting organisations like pre-sales and professional services
  • Ambitious, competitive mind-set
  • Fluent in English, Japanese language skills an advantage

You will be reporting to the Regional Manager and will be covering Oceania and Japan. 

International travelling might be required to visit our sales office and resellers in Oceania and Japan. On a daily basis you will travel within your region, meeting clients and prsopsects.
