Customer Advocate

The Vizrt office in Hong Kong is looking for a Customer Advocate working across support and projects for Vizrt Hong Kong

We wish to strengthen our operations team in Hong Kong with looking for a motivated, quick learner with a passion for new technology and working with customers.  You would travel throughout our region to demonstrate and install our products, and teach our customers how to best use them.  You would primarily be focused on our graphics products but with the aptitude to add additional product groups to your skillset (such as MAM and Studio Automation).

You will also support our sales director during product presentations. You will provide our customers the best possible support when they contact Vizrt.

This role would ideally suit an experience media/broadcast engineer looking to make the move from a broadcaster to a top tier vendor.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstration of Vizrt products for potential customers
  • Training customers in the use of Vizrt's products after installation
  • Perform on site and remote installations of software and hardware
  • Customer support via customer portal and through direct contact with our customers by phone, email, or on-site
  • Daily contact with global support organization in APAC.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex customer issues related to Vizrt product line.
  • Provide patches and updates when required to customer base.
  • Escalate issues with R&D support and local project team.
     

 

Desired qualifications and experience

  • A Diploma / degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Media or equivalent
  • Experience with Vizrt products or other similar products
  • Relevant experience as a professional system administration.
  • Self-motivated and responsive to customer requirements.
  • Eager to help and solve customer problems.
  • Comfortable in technically complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver unparalleled customer support
  • Desire to constantly expand knowledge of new technologies
  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows and Linux server environments
  • Experience working with enterprise-grade relational databases
  • Well versed in TCP/IP Networking, both physical cabling and logical layout
  • Willing to work nights and weekends when required
  • Take after-hours support calls when needed
