New Business Manager - UK & Ireland

For more than 20 years, Vizrt have been the industry leaders in the media and broadcast sectors. Our business continues to grow and expand and we have an opportunity for an ambitious and driven New Business (Sales) Manager, to join our team in London.

Selling our portfolio of software solutions for Broadcast AR/VR graphics, Automation and Media Asset Management, the ideal candidate should be a highly driven sales hunter with a demonstrable successful track record of winning new logos in the media/broadcast sector.

Vizrt is on a strong growth trajectory in the exciting and changing media industry. To further fuel our growth a vital part of our strategy is to add to our high-performing UK & Ireland sales team. The ideal candidate has the primary responsibility for winning new customers, for prospecting and generating new opportunities and for bringing them to close, whilst retaining a strong relationship with a small portfolio of existing customers.

The role would suit a driven, commercially-minded self-starter, with strong business acumen and a keen eye for new market opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, locate, and qualify new business opportunities in a given market or industry segment.
  • Create new business plans, including selected industries and companies, setting and meeting specific KPI targets and milestones.
  • Initiate marketing activities targeted at defined industries and companies.
  • Act as a solutions expert in analysing customer needs, clarifying expectations, and successfully communicating and selling Vizrt product solutions.
  • Diligently following up and managing extensive customer contact including presentations, demonstrations, group meetings, and sales calls.
  • Managing the new business sales process from lead identification through to close.
  • In a structured manner, coordinating and utilising internal resources such as marketing, product managers, presales and services to win the account.

Desired skills:

  • 5+ years of experience selling complex software solutions to B2B customers in the software industry, media industry, telecom or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing new business plans, identifying and selling to customer needs, utilising a consultative sales approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple product lines in a growing, fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably experienced in working with supporting organisations like pre-sales and professional services.
  • Ambitious, self-driven and with a competitive mind-set.
  • Calm in stressful situations.
  • Fluent in English.
